If you are interested in joining the Dresden Fire Department and helping out in any capacity, please let us know. You don’t need to go into burning buildings in order to join. There are many jobs to do, and our firefighters include men and women of all ages and talents. We also encourage any boys and girls (at least 16 years old) interested in joining the Junior Firefighter program to inquire.

Visitors are always welcome to check it out, chat with the members, find out what it involves and get an application form. Pending a background check, acceptance is usually very informal. Like so many fire departments, there is a shortage of personnel, so we hope you will consider committing to helping your family, friends and community in this important service.
