December 2016 training schedule – –

All Personnel are urged to participate.

December 14 – I.A.R. Training – 1800 hrs. promptly

December 21 – Truck/Station Maintenance & All equipment checks

December 28 – Ropes and Knots

All members who have signed up for the training classes that will be conducted at the Richmond Fire Department, please be sure to be there on time with all required materials/equipment.   Remember the classes begin on Monday, August 31, 2015.

The completion of hose testing will be done on Saturday, September 12 at Pownalborough Station beginning at 9:00 a.m.

ALL personnel are required to participate.

2014 > Dresden firefighters undergo regular training in a wide range of firefighting and rescue situations. Just this year, we have had training in the following areas: water rescue, driving, pumper truck operation, hazardous materials overview, inside and outside attack on an intentionally burned building, operation of motor vehicle extraction tools (so-called “Jaws of Life”), defibrillator operation, and more.
